When your model tries to eat the product you are photographing for an ad, you might wonder if it's going to be a long day. Fortunately, puppies are very cute so it's easy to be patient with them. Eventually, I got Jasmine the Norfolk Terrier puppy to sit pretty for a nanosecond, without eating the props or jumping off the chair. What is that red "puppy chew toy," you ask?
Here's another photo I took for Lilly Brush showing how a cat might get fur all over their owner's clothes by sitting in their suitcase. Now, you can't force a cat to sit somewhere it doesn't want to, so this photo was challenging as well. I picked one of my favorite cats, Juneau, because I knew if any cat would play along, it would be him. It was tricky at first but Juneau's person was quick-thinking and put one of her own sweaters in the suitcase. To Juneau, it smelled way better than the sweaters we had brought as props and he hopped right in. What a supermodel!
